COVID-19 FAQs

We’re here to help and ready to make your home certified clean, guaranteed!

How can I protect my home or business from COVID-19?

While there are still unknowns regarding sanitation and COVID-19, you can help reduce it significantly by disinfecting regularly, including common touchpoints that carry the most contamination load. Certified Softwash offers professional deep cleaning of hard surfaces with an electrostatic sprayer and can apply a protective coating to all touchpoints to fend off germs and bacteria for 30 to up to 90 days.

The CDC advises that any disinfection service should be followed by “routine cleaning of frequently touched surfaces (for example tables, doorknobs, light switches, handles, desks, toilets, faucets, sinks)” using an EPA registered disinfectant, following manufacture guidelines.

Is routine carpet cleaning sufficient to protect my family?

According to the CDC – “For soft (porous) surfaces such as carpeted floor, rugs, and drapes, remove visible contamination if present and clean with appropriate cleaners indicated for use on these surfaces. After cleaning…use products with the EPA-approved emerging viral pathogen claims that are suitable for porous surfaces.” After steam cleaning, Certified Softwash can apply an EPA-registered product with this claim to provide additional sanitization. We do not guarantee the complete removal of viruses.
